John Piscitelli ’99 was a four-year starter at third base on the baseball team graduating from DeSales with a degree in criminal justice.
He was a part of three conference championship teams helping DSU win two PAC Championships and one MAC Championship. He also helped DeSales win the ECAC Championship in 1997 and appeared in two NCAA Tournaments in 1997 and 1998.
Piscitelli was named All-MAC Freedom First-Team in 1999 and earned Second-Team honors in 1998. He was also named ABCA All-Region First-Team in 1998. Piscitelli still ranks among the all-time leaders in several offensive categories including seventh in hits (187), seventh in batting average (.383), ninth in runs scored (132), 15th in doubles (33), 13th in RBIs (105), 10th in on-base percentage (.472) and ninth in assists (282).
