Andy Pitsilos ’03 was a standout on the baseball team from 1990-92 graduating from DeSales in 1993 with a bachelor of science in business and finance and a minor in mathematics.
He was named to the ESAC All-Conference First-Team twice in 1991 and 1992. During the 1991 season, Pitsilos stole 34 bases, which ranks second all-time in a season at DeSales and during the 1991 season was 10th in the nation in stolen bases per game.
Pitsilos finished his career ranked among the career leaders in several categories and still ranks 14th in batting average (.360), 42nd in hits (117), 31st in doubles (26), 20th in on-base percentage (.444), fourth in stolen bases (70), and ninth in assists (282).
