Michael Venafra ’05 was a standout on the men’s basketball team graduating from DeSales with a degree in psychology.
Venafra earned All-MAC Freedom First-Team once in 2005 and Second-Team honors once in 2004. He was also named Honorable-Mention All-ECAC and D3hoops.com All-Region Third-Team as a senior in 2005.
He finished his career with 1,354 career points which still ranks eighth all-time. Venafra is also ranked eighth all-time with 181 three-pointers, third in three-point FG percentage (41.2%), fifth in free throw percentage (83.3%), sixth in assists (346), and 14th in steals (131).
